Prime Minister summoned to parliament through interpellation rule

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia will arrive in the parliament today. The opposition summoned PM through an interpellation rule. The questions to Prime Minister are already submitted to the government.

A 7-member group or a faction in the parliament has the right to address a member of the government with a question and then the addressee is required to answer the question at a plenary sitting.

Prime Minister will arrive in the parliament for already the second time this week. On May 27, PM presented a report to the lawmakers about the government’s 2-month work in fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
