President Kavelashvili meets World Ethnosport Confederation President

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvli met President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, Bilal Erdoğan.

According to the Presidential Administration, the parties focused on the friendly relations between Georgia and Turkiye and discussed the importance and prospects for the development of traditional sports.

Bilal Erdoğan is visiting Georgia at the invitation of the Ministry of Sport and the Georgian Federation of Wrestling. He will attend the World Championship in Georgian Wrestling, which Georgia is hosting for the first time in history.

Sports Minister Shalva Gogoladze and Ambassador of Turkiye to Georgia Ali Kaan Orbay attended the meeting.
