Organized by the National Wine Agency and the Georgian Embassy in France, a presentation-tasting of Georgian wine was held in Paris.

The agency’s tasting commission chair, Ana Godabrelidze, headed the event, which was also attended by Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in France, Irakli Kurashvili.

The invited guests had the opportunity to learn about the diversity of Georgian wine, traditional wine production methods, and the culture of Georgian winemaking.

According to the National Wine Agency Deputy Chair Tamta Kvelaidze, participation in similar events contributes to the popularization of Georgian wine on the international market and the diversification of export markets.

Increasing the awareness of Georgian wine and its popularization in international markets is one of the top priorities of the National Wine Agency’s activities.

Since 2013, the Agency has been actively implementing marketing and advertising campaigns in various countries, including France, which is renowned for its winemaking, where demand for Georgian wine, and especially qvevri wine, is gradually increasing.
