Police make further arrests in connection with violence against Polish citizens in Tbilisi

Officers from the Old Tbilisi Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department, part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), have made an additional arrest in connection with the recent violence against Polish nationals.

Following thorough operational and investigative measures, a person identified as A.K., born in 2005, has been taken into custody.

During the ongoing investigation, law enforcement also detained S.J., born in 2004, and E.G., born in 1985, who has a previous criminal record. These arrests were conducted yesterday under a court warrant.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the suspects, amid a dispute, inflicted various injuries on three Polish citizens near a restaurant in Tbilisi. During the confrontation, E.G. physically assaulted the victims with a blunt object.

The investigation remains active and intensive, with all necessary investigative procedures continuing.

The case is being pursued under Part One of Article 126 of the Criminal Code.
