Police arrest individual wanted by Interpol Red Notice

Officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs have apprehended R.A., a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan born in 1986, who was wanted under an Interpol Red Notice.

According to the ministry, the detained individual has been sought by the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2013 on charges of organized group membership and bodily harm.

Law enforcement officials arrested R.A. in Marneuli following investigative activities.

Pre-extradition procedures as provided by law are currently underway.
