“We launched our election campaign several days ago and officially nominated Kakha Kaladze as the candidate for the Tbilisi Mayor’s office. I would like to once again wish success to Kakha Kaladze, whose win is absolutely vital for Tbilisi and its development over the next four years,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during the presentation of the single-mandate candidates for the Tbilisi Municipality.

According to the Prime Minister, Tbilisi has become a more beautiful, developed, and vibrant city compared to eight years ago, and he attributed this progress to Kakha Kaladze.

“I want to emphasise that Tbilisi is now a more beautiful, greener, and lively city than it was eight years ago. This achievement is down to Kakha Kaladze, and I would like to express my gratitude to him, this time as a fellow citizen. I also wish to thank the members of the Tbilisi government and every employee of the Tbilisi City Hall, who work tirelessly each day to address the city’s challenges and foster its development,” Irakli Kobakhidze stated.

On 31 July, the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party officially nominated Kakha Kaladze as its candidate for the Tbilisi Mayor’s office in the forthcoming local self-government elections scheduled for 4 October.
