PM wishes Europe progress and prosperity; its development means greater prosperity for Georgia
“We sincerely wish Europe maximum progress, development, and prosperity. This continent is our most cherished space, and its advancement inevitably means greater prosperity for Georgia,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to journalists.
Kobakhidze emphasised there are deeply concerning trends across Europe today. The continent faces widespread migration, threatening to erode national and religious identities within European states.
“Today is Europe Day, and I would like to acknowledge this important date by expressing our wishes for Europe’s continued development and prosperity.
Currently, Europe is confronting serious challenges—mass migration, which endangers national and religious identities; economic difficulties; and a significant number of EU member states experiencing economic downturns or recession. We hope these trends turn positive, fostering stability and growth. This is crucial not only for the continent as a whole but also for our country, because the economic crisis in Europe poses risks to any nation within our region.
Therefore, we wish Europe maximum progress, development, and prosperity. This continent is our most cherished space, and its advancement inevitably means greater prosperity for Georgia.”
