PM: What we have seen in Copenhagen was brutality against peaceful demonstrators

“What we have seen in Copenhagen was not an excess of force by a few law enforcers. This was a planned, brutal act against peaceful demonstrators,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a briefing at the Government Administration.

According to the PM, this fact has no explanation or justification.

“Double standards are obvious. I would not expect a response since they have nothing to say in response. Actually, they acknowledge the backsliding that is obvious throughout Europe, and for them, this backsliding is a normal event. This is the European bureaucracy’s attitude.

What we have seen in Copenhagen was not an excess of force by a few law enforcers. This was a planned, brutal act against peaceful demonstrators. This fact has no explanation or justification. Therefore, it is logical that they do not respond to an uncomfortable question. This question is very uncomfortable for them, and naturally, they find it difficult to answer this question, and this is absolutely logical,” he said.
