The Head of the Government emphasised the decisive role of U.S. President Donald Trump’s diplomacy in reaching the Gaza ceasefire and highlighted the importance of the immediate release of hostages.

“We welcome the Gaza ceasefire as a hopeful milestone toward peace. President Donald Trump’s decisive diplomacy, supported by the mediation of Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye, has played a crucial role in reaching this agreement. The immediate release of hostages will pave the way for lasting peace; that remains our shared responsibility,” Georgia’s Prime Minister stated.
