PM: We wish to restart strategic partnership between Georgia and U.S. from a clean page, effective roadmap
“We fully share the spirit of the Georgian President’s open letter. Our message is clear: We wish to restart strategic partnership between Georgia and the U.S. from a clean page and with an effective roadmap,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.
According to the PM, if the Deep State does not prevail, nothing will impede the reset of the Georgia-U.S. relations.
“For us, as a society, the kind of passivity we see is surprising. Our great desire is for this passivity to shift to another, active mode and start talks about the resumption of the strategic partnership. We keep hope that the strategic partnership will be reviewed. If the Deep State does not prevail, we believe that nothing will impede the reset of the Georgia-U.S. relations,” the PM stated.
