PM: UNM has no say in how elections are conducted; elections to be held in best interests of Georgia
“It is not up to the United National Movement to decide how the elections will be conducted; they will be held according to what serves the best interests of our country,” stated Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, addressing journalists.
According to the Prime Minister, the elections will take place in a healthy environment, with all relevant norms of Georgian legislation strictly observed.
“It is not up to the United National Movement to decide how the elections will be held. The elections will be conducted based on the best interests of our nation. They will take place transparently and lawfully, respecting all aspects of Georgian law. The United National Movement has made numerous attempts at sabotage in the past, but none of their efforts have succeeded. The same will be true this time,” Kobakhidze emphasised.
