PM: Specific people from EU bureaucracy talk about promoting war prolongation; why should we be surprised that they want 2nd front in Georgia?
“Today, only America’s new government is talking about ending the Ukrainian war as quickly as feasible,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in an interview with GPB First Channel. “European bureaucracy and politicians are criticising Trump’s attitude and doing all they can to stymie his peace initiative.”
The PM further remarked that “the Prime Minister of one EU member country stated that peace in Ukraine could be more dangerous than war, which directly indicates their attitude towards the ongoing war in Ukraine.”
“What else needs to be mentioned to comprehend European officials’ attitudes towards the Ukraine conflict adequately? On the contrary, this bureaucracy represents the ‘deep state’ – I’m referring to specific individuals who significantly determine EU policy – they openly advocate the continuation of the conflict in Ukraine.
At this point, why should we be surprised that certain people desired and still want to see comparable processes in Georgia, i.e., a second front?” the Prime Minister said.
