Full service resumes on Tbilisi Metro’s First Line

Full service has resumed on the First Line of the Tbilisi Metro, according to a statement released by the Tbilisi Transport Company.

The company noted that the partial disruption to train services was caused by a technical fault on a train at Rustaveli Station. As a result of the incident, the metro had temporarily been operating exclusively between Akhmeteli Theatre and Station Square.

At this stage, both metro lines have returned to normal operations and are fully serving passengers.
