PM says gov't works in compliance with world practices, trends

“As time passes, our people will better see that whatever the government does or wants to do, everything complies with world practices and trends taking place in Europe and globally,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

The PM remarked on the European People’s Party (EPP) Group initiative on drafting the European analogue to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

“You mentioned the EPP initiative related to American law, introducing the FARA analogue that will become compulsory for the European Union. We will, of course, closely monitor this process and make our assessments after that,” the PM told reporters.
