PM says government to share information on expenses allocated for late patriarch’s burial with society

“Based on preliminary information, there is no evidence of any inappropriate spending of expenses allocated for the late patriarch’s burial; moreover, much more was allocated and a very large portion of this amount was returned,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to the PM, due to high public interest, the government will share information on expenses allocated for the late patriarch’s burial with society shortly.

“We will present the detailed information, and if any questions remain regarding this matter, let us discuss them together; we can also reach out to any relevant agency, but first, I will share with you detailed information concerning the expenses that have been incurred,” he said.
