Sandro Bazadze wins Algiers Fencing World Cup

Georgian sabre fencer Sandro Bazadze has won the Algiers World Cup.

In the final, Bazadze defeated Hungary’s Krisztián Rabb 15–12 to claim the gold medal at his second tournament of the season.

Earlier, Bazadze secured his place in the final by beating Japan’s Mao Kokubo 15–10 in the semifinals.
