“It has once again become evident that the decision we made at the time, not to join the sanctions against Russia, was absolutely rational, pragmatic, correct, and the only viable option,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, responding to the question on easing sanctions on Russian diesel fuel by the U.S.

According to the PM, this is the policy the U.S. pursues.

“You remember the massive campaign that ensued when we decided not to join the sanctions imposed on Russia. Against this backdrop, we are now seeing easing sanctions taking place. It has once again become evident that the decision we made at the time, not to join the sanctions against Russia, was absolutely rational, pragmatic, correct, and the only viable option,” he said.
