“Nothing better preserves the Georgian spirit and traditions than the Georgian mountainous regions, and Upper Adjara sets an excellent example of that,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, addressing the attendees of Shuamtoba public celebration.
The PM congratulated locals of the Upper Adjara region on Shuamtoba and noted that “this day united everyone.”
“Nothing better preserves the Georgian spirit and traditions than the Georgian mountainous regions, and Upper Adjara is an excellent example of this.
This is the merit of each of you. Each time upon arrival in Adjara, the region astonishes with its beautiful nature, but most importantly, there is special warmth and hospitality shared by locals and thank you for that.
I am pleased that this tradition continues, uniting mountain and valley, clergy and nation. It unites everyone, and we celebrate it together. This is an echo of the traditions, which are best represented in this region. I wish Georgian mountainous regions and Upper Adjara development, and to each of you – prosperity,” he said.
