PM, members of government, parliament attend Wine Festival in Gurjaani

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, accompanied by members of the government and parliament, attended the Wine Festival in Gurjaani, the eastern Kakheti region of Georgia.

The PM visited the cuisine space organized for the wine festival, as well as exhibitions of rare Georgian grape varieties, wine labels, old Georgian wines, and winemaking books.

“Such activities are significant. The government will support holding such festivals and activities in the future. This will contribute to the development of this region and the entire country, will motivate economic activities,” Kobakhidze said.

The annual Gurjaani Wine Festival was held in Akhtala Park for the ninth time. This year, more than 500 winemakers and entrepreneurs were represented at the festival.
