Georgian PM-led Economic Council today discussed a number of topics, including fuel price reduction, gasification works in the Georgian regions and the Anaklia Deep Sea Port project.
The session attendees also discussed the introduction of the new Euro 5 environmental standard for cars from 2024.
On top of that, the conversation touched on the high rate of economic growth and the country’s positive rate of inflation.
It was noted that in February 2023, the annual inflation level reached 8.1 percent, while the prices fell by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month. The annual inflation rate shrunk by 1.3 percentage points compared to the previous month.
