PM-led Economic Council expands

The staff of the Economic Council led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, expanded and continues work in the renewed format.

The Council, earlier staffed by members of the Cabinet, will include MPs, representatives of the Government Administration and Business Ombudsman.

The PM noted that the expanded Economic Council will improve the coordination and participation of all interested stakeholders in discussions.

The Council, which convened with the renewed format for the first time on March 23, discussed the economic progress, large-scale infrastructure projects and investment initiatives.
