“They can write any name and surname on their websites; it does not change anything for us. However, we wonder when the German bureaucracy will be able to release itself from the comical situation it has created,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated in response to a journalist’s question regarding the incorrect listing of the President of Georgia’s and the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ names on the German Foreign Office’s website.

According to the Head of Government, Georgia’s main concern is not subjective interests but rather when the German bureaucracy will be able to resolve the absurd situation it has found itself in.

“Let’s see, we are watching with interest. Of course, they can write any name and surname on their websites; it doesn’t change anything for us. What matters is when the German bureaucracy will manage to get out of this comical predicament,” the Prime Minister added.
