PM Kobakhidze meets newly appointed Georgian ambassadors to Germany and the Czech Republic
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze met with the newly appointed ambassadors to Germany and the Czech Republic, Aleksandre Kartozia and Ruslan Abashidze.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated the diplomats on commencing their diplomatic missions and extended his best wishes for their success.
Aleksandre Kartozia, Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Germany, brings extensive experience from his years in public service. He has previously served as Minister of Education and Director of the National Library of the Parliament of Georgia.
Aleksandre Kartozia has also held prominent academic roles at Georgian State University and has been a researcher, delivering lectures and seminars at leading universities in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Bremen.
Ruslan Abashidze, Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Czech Republic, has been with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1996. From 2009 to 2013, he served as Georgia’s Ambassador to Estonia, and from 2013 to 2015, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to an unspecified country.
Throughout his career, he has held various significant positions, including First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, as well as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.
