Health Minister meets BAG members
Georgian Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs Mikheil Sarjveladze, alongside Labor Inspection Service Head Beka Peradze, met members of the Business Association of Georgia (BAG).
The meeting participants reviewed occupational safety standards in the construction sector, legislative regulations and their enforcement.
Mikheil Sarjveladze emphasized that occupational safety norms and the health of employees should be a key responsibility of both the state and private sectors.
The meeting focused on the prevention of incidents and stressed the significance of dialogue in the process of improving labor conditions, regular monitoring, and detecting violations.
Deputy Health Minister Giorgi Tsagareishvili, Chair of the Parliamentary Health and Social Affairs Committee Zaza Lominadze and Executive Director of the BAG Levan Vephvadze attended the meeting.
