PM Kobakhidze hopes to reverse decision on embargo

The Georgian government continues to work on Russia’s embargo on Georgian products, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.

The PM hopes to resolve the issue.

“Work on the issue of the embargo is ongoing; we are looking into the matter, and we hope that it will soon be possible to reverse this decision,” he said.

Russia’s Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, Rospotrebnadzor, has banned the import and sale of some sorts of Georgian wines, mineral water Nabeglavi and cola produced in Georgia.
