GD: Bidzina Ivanishvili sums up corruption-related challenges within team, praises PM, law enforcers for resolving them

The political union Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia (GD party) held a Political Council meeting at the party’s Central Office.

GD Honorary Chair Bidzina Ivanishvili attended the meeting. According to the GD party’s press service, two new members – Irakli Kirtskhalia, a member of the parliamentary majority and Zurab Pataridze, Chair of the Adjara Autonomous Republic Government – joined the Georgian Dream party’s Political Council.

A meeting of the parliamentary majority was held following the Political Council sitting to review ongoing political and economic processes in the country.

GD Honorary Chair Bidzina Uvaishvili commended the team members for active work. He summed up the corruption-related challenges that previously existed within the team and noted that, as a result of the effective work of the Prime Minister, the team, and the law enforcement and security system, these challenges have been resolved.

Additionally, the meeting focused on specific initiatives and reforms recently announced by the government. The meeting of the parliamentary majority continued in a discussion format.
