Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, together with Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, held a meeting with representatives of companies involved in state infrastructure projects.
According to the Prime Minister’s press service, the discussion focused on the implementation of road and infrastructure projects across the country, as well as the challenges faced in this sector. Kobakhidze stressed the importance of cost-effectiveness and high-quality execution, noting that these aspects will receive special attention from the government.
“Our main task is to improve the cost-effectiveness and quality of projects. There are challenges in both directions, and our goal is to enhance practice as much as possible. Another important task is to ensure fair competition for all companies. We discussed specific details on this matter and heard valuable opinions. The exchange was very interesting and will help us improve our approach,” the Prime Minister said, thanking the Georgian Business Association and company representatives for their participation.
The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format, allowing private sector representatives to share their views and proposals. Both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Infrastructure expressed readiness to maintain ongoing dialogue with the business community.
Around 150 representatives of construction companies attended the meeting.
