UNM’s Lasha Parulava: GD cannot dare to mention Russia as adversary, yet they talk about previous government, blame Mikheil Saakashvili for everything

“Russia is an adversary and occupier. Glory to heroes. This is the key message today, 18 years after the war, rather than what the Georgian Dream says or does,” said Lasha Parulava, a member of the United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Parulava, GD members lack the courage to mention Russia.

“The most shameful and hardest thing is that the Georgian Dream does not dare to say who is the adversary and occupant at the grave of heroes. They cannot mention Russia but speak about the previous government and blame Mikheil Saakashvili, who is Russia’s political captive, for everything. They mention the resolution and international assessments, which serve as the ground for Georgia’s victories in international courts.

Russia is adversary and occupier and Glory to heroes. This is the key message today, 18 years after the war, rather than what the Georgian Dream says or does. This is the path to treason, which the Georgian people will end soon,” he said.
