“Any statements being made highlight the most serious value crisis, which is entirely evident within European bureaucracy,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze responded to a question concerning statements made by European officials regarding Georgia.

According to the Head of Government, Georgia has great hope that the situation in Europe will improve and that the ongoing economic, democracy, and value-related crisis will be overcome.

“Any statements being made highlight the most serious value crisis, which is entirely evident within the European bureaucracy. This is primarily a crisis of values, with other issues stemming from it. We remain hopeful that the situation in Europe will change and improve, including overcoming the economic, democratic, and value-related crises. We aspire to become a full-fledged member of the European Union by 2030,” stated the Prime Minister.

Regarding the visa-free regime, the Prime Minister emphasised that blackmail must cease and that this is the message the Georgian government sends to all parties.

“We maintain proper communication with everyone. Blackmail must end — this is our call to all,” the Prime Minister concluded.
