PM: European leaders convene at EPC Summit; Georgia to discuss key national interests
“The European Political Community Summit is a significant event where discussions will focus on the main messages concerning our country’s fundamental national interests,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Albania, where he is participating in the 6th Summit of the European Political Community (EPC).
According to Kobakhidze, he is prepared to engage with all attending leaders.
“This is an important summit, with leaders from all European countries present. We will have the opportunity to deliver speeches in a roundtable format, and I plan to use this platform to speak with leaders from various nations. Naturally, our discussions will revolve around the core messages of our country, which are closely tied to our fundamental national interests. I am ready to speak with everyone—let’s see how it unfolds. This format allows us to engage with many leaders on issues related to our country’s development, regional stability, and Georgia’s European integration. We will address all relevant topics,” Kobakhidze stated.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister emphasised Georgia’s long-standing role in fostering regional peace.
“For many years, our country has played a positive role in ensuring peace within our region, and we are prepared to continue contributing to this effort in the future,” Irakli Kobakhidze affirmed.
