PM dubs Georgia's European choice unanimous decision

Georgia’s European choice is our unanimous decision, the choice of the Georgian people, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili addressed the event dedicated to Europe Day.

According to PM, signing the Association Agreement led to practical, tangible results.

“We signed the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement in 2014, which resulted in a visa-free regime. We officially applied for EU membership in March,” he said.

Georgian PM once again expressed solidarity with Ukraine. He stressed that the outcomes of the war would determine the future of the entire world, including Georgia.

“It is vital how the modern world will respond to this challenge facing Europe today. We, Georgians, share common values with Europe. We will never deviate from them,” he added.
