PM: Disinformation-saturated statements from European bureaucracy remain concern
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Yerevan that statements he described as being “saturated with disinformation” coming from parts of the European bureaucracy represent a serious problem that the government has repeatedly addressed.
According to the Prime Minister, this remains a “sad reality,” although he expressed hope that the situation would improve in the future.
“We often find ourselves responding to statements that are filled with misinformation, and this is a disappointing reality. We hope that this situation will improve in the future.
Certain politicians participating in this summit have repeatedly made unfair remarks about the Georgian people and our country. I will refrain from going into details or naming names. We must continue to work within this reality. The most important thing is to do everything possible to develop our relationships in all areas. With a fair approach, we can resolve any issues that arise.
At this summit, we did not hear any critical statements regarding Georgia at all. This topic was not discussed in this format. I had conversations with many leaders, and this format allows participants to engage with more than half of those in attendance. We talked about the situation in our country and shared our perspectives with everyone,” Kobakhidze said.
