Vice Speaker Tsilosani: Giorgi Baramidze’s statement tantamount to a terrorist act in Georgian-Abkhaz relations
“The National Movement’s destructive actions have no limit; these people will do anything to fight against Georgia, accuse Georgian soldiers of war crimes, ruin Georgian-Abkhaz relations, and sow even greater hatred and animosity between the peoples,” said Vice Speaker Nino Tsilosani.
Tsilosani was asked to remark on the statement by UNM’s Giorgi Baramidze saying: “During the war in Abkhazia, Georgian military personnel shot prisoners, and for this reason, the Abkhaz side did not hand over prisoners.”
According to Nino Tsilosani, Baramidze serves anti-Georgian interests.
“Giorgi Baramidze’s statement is, in fact, tantamount to a terrorist act in the Georgian-Abkhaz relations, added to their launched anti-Georgian campaign.
The National Movement’s destructive actions have no limit. Gia Baramidze is one of the authors of their malicious policy. His name is associated with many of the shameful stains on this party’s record. This individual is one of the radicals who serves an anti-Georgian agenda. These people will do anything to fight against Georgia, accuse Georgian soldiers of war crimes, ruin Georgian-Abkhaz relations, and sow even greater hatred and animosity between the peoples
These people do anti-Georgian work, and this is part of the directives to achieve no peace in Georgia, no restoration of territorial integrity and no resolution of occupation problems. They will do their best to obstruct this process,” she said.
