Chair of the parliamentary European Integration Committee, Levan Makhashvili, said the latest staff changes made by the United National Movement (UNM) demonstrate that the party chose to take on the radicalism path.

According to the MP, if personnel decisions are made as intended, that will be the point of no return for a constructive political party.

“I hope that we are witnessing the last swan song. We are familiar with the party’s criminal past. However, the latest staff changes made by the UNM demonstrate that the party chose to take on radicalism path. There will be no place for them in Georgian politics. Thus, they will allow the country to develop peacefully without disorder and attempts at internal disputes,” he said.
