Despite economic crisis, increase of pensions will continue from July 1 – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said.

Also, according to PM, the government has applied to the parliament with the initiative to make constant indexation of the pension in relation to the inflation, and add 80% of economic growth to pensions to the pensioners aged above 70.

“We understand that everyday life and hard conditions stand behind all figures and in most cases, life is burdened with tragic, but we took important steps during the last 7-8 years regarding dynamics of poverty reduction for every citizen to be optimistic,” PM said in the parliament.
