PM congratulated Georgians on State Flag Day

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili congratulated Georgians on State Flag Day, noting that “the state flag is the most visible embodiment of the Georgian spirit, national identity, our freedom and independence.”

“I especially congratulate and thank our heroic soldiers who protect peace and unity today; I would like to thank all those who serve to strengthen Georgia with their daily work.

I wish peace, unity and continued progress to our homeland!” he added.

Georgia marks State Flag Day on 14 January.
