PM congratulates Georgians on Christmas

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, congratulated Georgians on Christmas.

As Garibashvili pointed out, “Christmas is a celebration of virtue and love, which we welcome with faith and expectation of good things to come in the future.”

“May God’s mercy and peace fill our homeland and each of you! I wish you happiness, joy, and progress!” the PM added.

The majority of Orthodox Christian Georgians commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ on January 7 according to the Julian calendar.
