PM: Commemoration to immortal names of hero soldiers
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvii released a statement on the 13th anniversary of August 2008 Russia-Georgia war.
“Thirteen years passed after the August war. These were the hardest days in the newest history of Georgia. This war claimed lives of many our citizens. I want to commemorate the immortal names of our hero soldiers. Their heroism is an eternal example of courage and steadfastness, devotion to the homeland.
Today, the 20 per cent of our country’s territories remains occupied. We chose a peaceful and pragmatic course for resolution of the conflict, that, I am sure, with our rational policy and international support, will bring the outcome, for sure,” PM wrote on Facebook.
