PM announces new electronic market research initiative to ensure transparency and fair competition
“I would like to share with you a new initiative concerning the introduction of an electronic method for conducting market research. This system will exclude dealings between the purchasing organisation and the relevant companies,” stated Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, during a government session.
According to the Prime Minister, this approach will be entirely transparent, thereby guaranteeing fair and equitable competition.
“We often discuss the fight against corruption. Significant progress has been made in this area over the past few months. Today, I am pleased to introduce another measure aimed at enhancing transparency: an electronic system for market research. This initiative is crucial, as it eliminates direct dealings between the purchasing organisation and the involved companies; everything will be fully transparent to ensure fair competition. These dealings will be comprehensively safeguarded, which will lead to improved cost-efficiency and, ultimately, better quality of the services and goods provided,” the Prime Minister explained.
