People’s Power Sepashvili dismisses ‘opposition unification’ as foreign-controlled effort doomed to fail

“I do not see the unification of the so-called opposition as a genuine political force; it appears to be orchestrated from abroad,” stated MP Eka Sepashvili, a member of People’s Power.

According to Sepashvili, these unifications have yielded no tangible results for the opposition, and their latest attempt is doomed to fail.

“They receive directives from foreign patrons and hold such unions each year, yet these efforts have consistently failed to produce any meaningful outcomes. It seems that they have been given yet another order to unite and launch an attack against the Georgian people and government under a shared front. However, their endeavour is doomed to failure. The rivalry among them has already begun to intensify, and it will only deepen, leading to their inevitable disintegration once more, as has happened time and again before,” Sepashvili added.
