All penitentiary establishments provide parcels for convicts and defendants regarding the celebration of St. Mary’s Day also known as Mariamoba – special penitentiary service releases the statement.

On this day, according to the law, all penitentiary establishments will receive parcels from today, at 10 a.m. till tomorrow at 13:00 p.m.

August 28 marks one of the greatest holidays in Georgia. Mariamoba, known as the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is celebrated as a religious holiday in Georgia.
