Parliament Speaker Papuashvili chairs Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Bureau
The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, has chaired the meetings of the Bureau and the Standing Committee of the 67th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).
During the sessions, members discussed matters concerning PABSEC’s current operations, future strategies, and financial management.
Participants also deliberated on the draft agenda for the 67th PABSEC Plenary Session, ratified the appointments of the PABSEC Vice-Presidents, and reviewed the assembly’s activity report. The plenary session is scheduled to take place on June 30.
The PABSEC General Assembly events are being convened as part of Georgia’s current presidency of the organisation.
