Due to forecasted severe weather and strong winds, the banners bearing the image of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia will be temporarily taken down from the façade of the Tbilisi Sakrebulo [City Council] building, the government administration informed the GPB First Channel.
Officials have stated that once the weather conditions improve, the banners will be reinstalled on the building.
In honour of the late Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, banners bearing the image of Ilia II were displayed on various government buildings across Tbilisi on March 19.
