PACE to debate Georgia on October 2

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will hold a debate concerning Georgia on October 2.

According to information published on the PACE website, the discussion, titled “Uphold democracy and the rule of law in Georgia”, is set for the afternoon session.

Alongside the Georgia debate, the assembly will also consider several other important topics, including: “Urgent appeal to end the devastating humanitarian catastrophe and the killing of journalists in Gaza”, “Russia: new threats to European democracies”, “Follow-up monitoring dialogue with Bulgaria”, among others.
