Out of 26 newly infected people with COVID-19, the source of infection 18 cases is connected to Mushavani village, four are from quarantine areas, four are contacts of Saburtalo cluster, – Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Head of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases said.

At this stage, 166 patients are being treated at COVID Centers.

Despite such increases in confirmed cases, Ezugbaya said the recovery rate was still more than 77 percent.

To date, 783 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, out of which 605 have recovered.
