Out of the 9 new COVID-19 cases reported in Georgia, 4 represent contacts with the already confirmed cases, 1 is medical personnel, 3 are imported and studies continue into 1 case – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Ezugbaia, the rate of recoveries remains unchanged at 81%. The health condition of newly revealed COVID-19 patients is of medieval gravity.

Georgia reported 9 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infected people to 1 394, according to stopcov.ge, a special web-page created by the Georgian government.

Four patients recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of cured patients reached 1132.
