Out of new coronavirus cases, 297 linked to Adjara, 52 to Imereti, 78 - Tbilisi

Out of 453new coronavirus cases reported in Georgia, 279 are linked to Adjara region, 52 to Imereti, 78 – to Tbilisi — said Marina Endeladze, Director of the boxed ward of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

Other cases are revealed in different regions of Georgia. Endeladze noted that the rate of recoveries in the country is 52%.

Georgia today reported 453 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 7 093.

The 295 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of cured persons to 3 714. The virus-related death toll in the country stands at 43.
