Orthodox Georgians observe Epiphany

The Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates Epiphany on January 19.

Every functional church conducts the festive liturgy. The blessed water from the ceremony will be available for parishioners to take home.

Metropolitan Shio Mujiri, Patriarchal Locum Tenens conducted festive liturgy at the Sameba (Holy trinity) Cathedral.

Epiphany commemorates the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River by John the Baptist.
