According to Rakviashvili, the candidate of the United National Movement and Aghmashenebeli Strategy were also considered for this position, however, finally, they agreed on the candidate of Lelo – Giorgi Sioridze.

“After two days of negotiations, we agreed on a candidate at the Girchi party office. Five parties will nominate him today and I hope the whole opposition will support him and he will be elected through the consensus. All parties were involved in the negotiations, including the United National Movement. The negotiations were constructive,” Rakviashvili said.
