One person detained on charge of taking bribe

Officers of Investigation Service of Finance Ministry detained an employee of State Services Development Agency on charge of taking bribe.

Investigation determined that the detainee, who was a member of tender commission, took the bribe from an entrepreneur, in return to promise to the entrepreneur in winning of the tender in the amount of 2 500 GEL.

The employee took the bribe in the amount of 1 000 GEL in advance. The crime envisages from 6 to 9 years in prison.
